Simple Ebay Search Tips

Some simple tricks for using Ebay search can definitely save or make you money. It gives you a distinct advantage over your competitors, regardless of whether you are buying or selling.
The first and most simple search is when you write what you want in the search bar and press search. This can be interesting because it shows you what is finishing now. Try typing in mp3 and press search.
Now take note of the right hand border. It has extra search options that narrow it all down. You can choose to search items within a certain distance, buy it now only, newly listed, and more. I actually use the search for completed items the most. It is great for checking out what and how much other people are selling. And if something doesn’t sell well, I do not want sell them either. You also can see how much an item is worth, before you buy.
More search tips:
When you type (for example) Toyota tarago it will return a search with Toyota and Tarago from the auction title only in any order.. If you want to search the auction description you must check the box located under the search bar.
If you put “Toyota Tarago” it will show the results from this exact phrase. Not Tarago Toyota.
If you want a car from the years 1980 to 1989 type Toyota tarago 198* . This will give you all the Toyota Tarago’s from the 1980′s. The * sign is a wild card and can be put into words as well. For example if you type Mar* munroe – marilyn. This will search for mar**** munroe but not marilyn. This is how to search for incorrect spelling.
If you use commas between words but no spaces, you will get results for any of the words. It will contain any one of the words, but it doesn’t have to be both.
